Established in 1994, Advanced Plastic Industries -api- has been set up as a joint stock company (S.A.L.) in accordance with the Lebanese laws.

Gaby Abou-Chedid, is the president of -api- and the major shareholder. Mr. Abou Chedid is a chemical engineer specialized in the plastic industry. He has a past experience in the plastic processing Industry overall and more specifically in the plastic piping industry. Gaby is co-owner of the well known ACIS (Alireza Commercial and Industries Services) Plastics Division, a leader in the supply of plastic processing machinery in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Gulf. Region. The group is the representative of many European plastic companies such as AMUT, MEKO GROUP, RAPID, KEIFEL and others.

Elias Abou-Chedid, is a member of the board of directors of -api- and is currently responsible for planning in the company. Before joining -api- Eli was a founding partner and Managing Director of STS-Health care Services and a member of the board of directors of the Nazer group, a well known business group in Saudi Arabia. Before joining the Nazer Group, Eli was Regional Manager for Hill-Rom a US fortune 500 company. Eli has diversified business interest in Lebanon and the USA.

Charbel Abou Chedid, is a member of the board of directors of -api- and is currently the C.E.O of the
company.
