Michel Nassif & Fils sal is the exclusive distributor that specializes in marketing goods, distributing nationwide, and the selling, and communicating those goods to the end consumer. The company also provides business and consultancy services.

The company was founded in 1907 by Michel Nassif senior and his friend, Moussa Zelhof, who went into business together in Damascus.

They began by importing sheet brass and trading imported goods by camel train to Baghdad.

Since then, Michel Nassif & Fils has evolved into a sophisticated importing and marketing company, responsible for high quality, international, mainstream consumer brands.

We are a classic Lebanese family enterprise, but shaped and equipped for the 21st century and beyond.

Historically our business has been unusually diverse.

We introduced radio to Lebanon, brought street lighting to Damascus, pioneered web-offset printing and hot metal typesetting throughout the Middle East. We have experience in sectors such as consumer durables, confectionery, photographic equipment and drinks. Currently we are the business partner of five great Fast Moving Consumer Goods brands.

We have represented the Zwan canned meat product range in Lebanon since 1931 and from Ecotone Bjorg organic foods since 1988 and Tanoshi since 2020 – and have taken both brands to market leadership.

We have partnered Royal Canin pet foods (part of the Mars Corporation) since 1992. Royal Canin is brand leader in its sector is rapidly establishing a powerful position in their market sectors.

From our head office in Beirut, we manage every phase of logistics and marketing for the brands throughout Lebanon.
